Joining the Hawks in 2001 as a player, part of the double winning 2003 squad and captaining the League winning 2005 team – moved on to player/coach in 2007 for the O35s team and taking on a more ‘boardroom’ role in helping run the club since then. Coaches any team that needs a session. Can be frequently seen putting cones down or in the physio room.
A man of many talents both on and off the pitch. An elegant midfielder, sure and steady on the ball. Making him the ideal committee member to help steer the Hawks ship on a steady course.
Heffron’s Viking. Built like a bull, runs like a horse, kicks like a mule! A striker, Romo leads from the front. He’s the Hawks’ front line off the pitch – serving as Senior Secretary.
Finance guy during the week – tenacious tackler on the weekend – and an obvious choice for the Hawks ‘money-man’. Sam looks after the Hawk’s bottom line and keeps us in the black.
Stubbsy – joined as a player in 2013 Season – turning up to his first training session in his now famous Inter Milan shirt – he quickly cemented himself into Heffron Hawks folklore. Not for his playing ability but his ability to be the brunt of everyone’s ‘transfer window moves’ rumours in the off season. A great battler on the pitch and a dependable member of the club off it. He now spends most of his hours in the MyFootball website or at the ESFA offices.
Dix has been a player for every team at the Hawks (apart from the kids and women team) and still tries to play in every team if he can! He’s a prolific scorer (still) and a dependable member of the club. Been a Hawks player since… since he had long hair! Colin is having a break from committee duties but is a good sounding board for the members of the board and the Club.
Fierce French supporter, dancing coach to the stars! Hawks’ very own ‘twinkle toes’ on and off the pitch. Jules deals with partnerships for the Hawks – both social and financial. Hit him up for a chat about joining the team through sponsorship.
‘Kenny’ has been with the Hawks for a few years now as a player and more recently taking on coaching roles. He’s an eloquent, well-mannered ‘doer’ of the Club and we’re lucky to have him.
